Pair of Modernist Wall Lights produced in Italy 1950s. Each wall light has a green enamelled spun-metal shade which flares outward at the bottom, creating a striking silhouette. The shades are mounted on adjustable brass arms attached to round brass backplates. The combination of the bold, colourful shades with the polished brass accents exemplifies the sophisticated yet playful language typical of 1950s Italian modernism.
