Pair of ‘Gamma’ Wall Lights designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, Italy, 1960s. Both lights feature the model’s distinctive pressed-glass diffusers set within brass rims and mounted on matching brass backplates. While the shades and mounting plates are identical, the pair shows a notable variation: one with a protruding angled arm projecting the light into the space, the other designed to sit almost flush against the wall. The pivoting shades allow for directional adjustment, combining sculptural presence with practical versatility. These differences highlight Artemide’s early production flexibility and Mazza’s sensitivity to diverse spatial requirements.
